The project consortium consists of two research institutions, three High Education Institutions (HEIs), one being an oversees expert in the field and one university lead science park as members.
The research institutions have conducted extensive research activities in the field of educational methodologies, while the HEIs have been implementing state of the art entrepreneurship educations tools and methods to enhance socio-economic benefit of their activities.
UNIVERSITY OF PECS
Uninversity of Pécs (UP - hereafter) is a 22,000 student university in Hungary with 10 faculties (disciplines). UP is a public higher education institution that was established first in Hungary. The UP's main disciplinary fields that it has been able to achieve leading position in Hungary and is among the best in the region are medicine, engineering and business and economics.
The lead of the innovation and entrepreneurship capacity building activity within the UP is the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE - hereafter) with its Simonyi Business and Economics Development Center (Simonyi BEDC - hereafter). The FBE is a 3,500 student faculty in the field of business and economics as well, with a history of 40 years. In the area of business finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and management can be found, in regional economics the FBE has built up an internationally recognized capacity.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY
North Carolina State (NCSU) is the University of North Carolina system’s largest university, enrolling 34,767 students and its flagship science and engineering university. It also is a land-grant university that emphasizes active outreach and extension to external stakeholders. NCSU constitutes one defining point of the internationally respected research triangle park (RTP) area along with Duke University (in Durham) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. RTP is now home to 170 global companies primarily in the information and technology fields, and Federal Government research laboratories, including IBM, GSK, RTI International, Cisco, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences of the NIH, and EPA. Nearly 40,000 people are employed full-time in the 7,000-acre Research Triangle Park campus, many with connections to NCSU.
PARC CIENTÍFIC, TECNOLÒGIC I EMPRESARIAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD JAUME I DE CASTELLÓ
Espaitec is the scientific, technological and business park of Jaume I University in Castellón, Spain. Promoted by the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) and the Castellón Businesspeople’s Confederation (CEC), espaitec was set up in 2007 for the purpose of offering quantitative and recognised contribution to both socio-economic development in the province of Castellón and the diversification of its industrial fabric.
Emerges as an initiative based on the intense connection of the Universitat Jaume I in the industrial fabric and the growing demand for support services for enterprise development. Espaitec aims to create a reference environment in Castellón which hosts, supports, encourages and helps innovative business initiatives to grow, and which facilitates active technology transfer in the University.
South East European Research Centre (SEERC)
The South East European Research Centre (SEERC) is a multidisciplinary, not-for-profit research centre based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
It was established jointly by the University of Sheffield (UK) and CITY College, International Faculty of the University (Greece) in 2003, as a truly international research institute with the mission to support the stable and peaceful development of South-East Europe by conducting pure and applied research in, and for the region. Research at SEERC is organised along three research tracks:
1. Enterprise, Innovation and Development
2. Information and Communication Technologies
3. Society and Human Development: Psychology, Politics, Sociology and Education
University of Tampere (UTA)
The University of Tampere (UTA) is a public university with some 15,400 degree students and with a staff of some 2000 persons. The UTA is a culturally-committed higher education institution with the social mission of educating visionaries who understand the world and change it. The profile of the UTA accentuates the university’s multifaceted research and education on society and health.
In its research, the University addresses the central issues in contemporary society. By providing critical knowledge and education, the university helps people and societies to improve their health and their cultural, social and economic well-being.
The School of Management in the UTA is an academic research and education unit operating in the areas of politics, business and public management. It is a community with 3500 students and more than 200 staff members, including 40 professors. The interface between the public and private sectors forms a unique and distinct characteristic of the research and teaching profile of the unit.
The School of Management is the leading and largest education and research center of public administration and management in Finland. There are two National Centres of Excellence in the School.
